Posts: 0 (12/03/02 04:11:52) Reply Quote More My Recent Posts Message Me Connection Blocking Invite Ignore User's Posts	Honestly I know nothing about graphic design or how these silly .tga files work, but I noticed when I loaded a spell from my book for my beastlord, the icon was different in the gem window, so I took a peek. In spells04.tga the 5th row the hourglass icon appears AFTER the two arm buff icons, but in the gemicons02.tga in the fourth row the hourglass icon appears BEFORE the two arm buff icons. Posts: 0 (12/14/02 18:26:51) Reply Quote More My Recent Posts Message Me Connection Blocking Invite Ignore User's Posts	- First I apologize if I totally butchered your icons in my example below - My question is - Is is possible to put transparent colors in the buff icons so that instead of square icons you can have just the arm or just the eye ball just the shield that sort of thing? As an example I took screen shot and simply painted over the box part of the icons (again I'm sorry for terrible editing - I'm not an artist of your caliber) I wanted to give an idea of how the buff bar would look with transparent backgrounds. I downloaded the 1.04 option #2 icon w/ chipped edges and when I put Resist Poison or Resist disease in my spell bar the icons are backwards. PR shows DR and vice versa. They are correct in my spell book and in buff window, just backwards in spell bar. Keep up the good work. The only thing I noticed was that in a high enough res the cast bar icons are very small and a bit dark so its harder to quickly tell them apart, but in the spell book and buffs bar, they look awsome.

However ;), I have had a problem with the Gem icons, in that, I can only see them on my Spell Gem bar, but not in my Spell book or Effects window. I use them, 3 of your spell books and also, I belive, one of your player windows. About the icons though, enchanter AC buffs (blur, mist...) look like a blue face instead of some kind of shield, atleast level 4 and 12 spell does. So often I have a hard time finding it cuz I think its a alliance/charm type thing. As far as I can remember, in your earlier version of icons these spells did look like shields.

Posts: 3727 (01/27/03 10:09:02) t.king Reply Quote More My Recent Posts Message Me Connection Blocking Invite Ignore User's Posts	I have to run to the dentist now (right after lunch) cringe - but in regards to the G2 icons I am working on them day-to-day, they are taking a while to make as I have been remaking many of them and completely removing the border designs on them, the result is they are absolutely fantastically detailed, I have no ETA but I have gotten quite a few of them done, if you're used to the 1.04 icons you will feel right at home with these, since they are basically major graphical overhauls with bug fixes, and not necessarily changes. --- Greybur, Oracle of Brell Serilis --- t.king Art

I have used your spell books, icons, and gems and I love how they make the game feel so much warmer. Thanks for all your wonderful work and I am patently awaiting the release of G2 icons

Posts: 0 (02/25/03 12:38:22) Reply Quote More My Recent Posts Message Me Connection Blocking Invite Ignore User's Posts	Tried (alot) to get the T.King buffs working since last patch and they simply dont display, I'm stuck with the default ones ... tried redownloading the complete set (Buffs,Spell Bar, Hot Keys) no luck refuses to use them. Is this the patch effect or is there something else I'm doing wrong, I've used them before and never had a problem till now. Necro_0001
